of SoulRise Global

Last updated: 27 October 2026

For online coaching, mentoring and themed programmes

Important notice

  • These Terms replace the version last updated on 15 January 2026.
  • The Payment & Instalment Policy forms part of these Terms and should be read together with them.
  • Mandatory consumer rights cannot be excluded or restricted by these Terms.

1. Parties and definitions

These Terms and Conditions of Service (the “Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between:

– SoulRise Global, a sole proprietorship established in 2800 Mechelen, Belgium, VAT number BE 0683.882.167, email info@soulriseglobal.com, website www.soulriseglobal.com (also “SoulRise Global”, “SRG” or the “Provider”);

– Any natural person or legal entity who purchases, books or intends to purchase coaching, mentoring or related services from SRG (the “Client”).

1.1 Client categories

These Terms apply to consumer Clients and business Clients, except where a provision is expressly limited to one category. A “consumer” is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. A “business Client” acts in the course of a professional or commercial activity.

1.2 Related documents

These Terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy, the Payment & Instalment Policy, the relevant service description, the booking confirmation and any individual written agreement or offer. If a specific written agreement expressly differs from these Terms, that written agreement prevails for the point concerned, subject to mandatory law.

2. Subject matter and territorial scope

2.1 Subject matter

These Terms govern the use of the Website and all online coaching, mentoring, themed programmes, individual sessions, packages and related non-therapeutic services offered by SRG.

2.2 Acceptance

By booking a service, submitting a paid booking, paying a deposit or other amount, or entering into a coaching or mentoring agreement with SRG, the Client confirms that they have had the opportunity to read and accept the applicable contractual information. Website access alone does not create an obligation to purchase services.

2.3 International Clients

Services are provided from Belgium and are governed by Belgian law, subject to mandatory rights that may apply in the Client’s country of residence. Clients outside Belgium are responsible for verifying whether any local professional, licensing, tax or regulatory requirements apply to their use of the services.

3. Nature of the services

3.1 Coaching and mentoring, not therapy

SRG provides coaching and mentoring aimed at personal or professional development, reflection, learning and change. The services do not constitute psychological, psychotherapeutic or medical treatment, diagnosis, healthcare counselling or medical advice, and do not replace treatment by a licensed healthcare or mental-health professional.

3.2 Client responsibility

The Client remains responsible for their decisions, actions, commitments and results. SRG may facilitate awareness, reflection and learning and may propose questions, exercises, frameworks or resources, but does not make decisions on the Client’s behalf.

3.3 Health and safety

Where physical or mental-health issues, crisis situations or symptoms of possible clinical relevance are present, the Client is encouraged to consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. SRG may suspend or decline coaching where it reasonably considers that another form of professional support is more appropriate.

3.4 Professional standards

SRG performs coaching activities with reference to the professional standards, core competencies and ethical principles of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), to the extent applicable. A reference to ICF standards does not by itself constitute a representation that every service is delivered under a particular ICF credential unless expressly stated.

3.5 SoulRise Journal — Editorial Content and Personal Reflection

The articles, reflections and educational materials published in the SoulRise Journal are intended to encourage self-awareness, personal development and a deeper understanding of human experiences, emotions and relationships.

These materials provide general perspectives and do not constitute personalised psychological, psychotherapeutic or medical advice. They are not intended to diagnose individuals, assess another person’s psychological condition or prescribe decisions concerning personal relationships or emotional well-being.

Reflective questions and exercises are offered as tools for personal exploration and should be approached with consideration for individual circumstances and personal limits.

Readers experiencing significant psychological distress, persistent symptoms or difficulties requiring specialised care are encouraged to seek guidance from an appropriately qualified healthcare or mental health professional.

4. Age and legal capacity

The Client must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into the contract. Services for a person under 18 may be provided only where a parent or legal guardian enters into the agreement and SRG expressly accepts the arrangement in writing.

5. Booking, confirmation and programme delivery

5.1 Booking methods

Sessions and programmes may be requested through the Website booking system, by email or through another communication channel expressly accepted by SRG.

5.2 Provisional and final confirmation

For a paid programme, submission of the booking form provisionally reserves the selected appointment. The booking becomes final only when SRG has received and confirmed the required deposit, unless SRG expressly confirms another arrangement in writing.

The required deposit must be received within 24 hours after submission of the booking. If it is not received within that period, SRG may release the provisional appointment. Appointments requested less than seven days in advance must be arranged directly and remain subject to availability and written confirmation.

5.3 Delivery

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, sessions are delivered online through a video-conferencing platform or, where agreed, by telephone. The Client is responsible for joining at the agreed time and for providing a suitable device, internet connection and reasonably private environment.

5.4 Packages and programmes

The number, duration and scope of sessions, programme content, included materials, price and payment schedule are described on the relevant service page, during booking, in the offer or in the written confirmation.

5.5 Programme timeframe

Sessions must be used within the programme timeframe communicated before purchase or agreed in writing. If no specific timeframe is stated, SRG and the Client will agree a reasonable schedule. Unused sessions may expire only where the applicable validity period was communicated before purchase or subsequently agreed in writing, subject to mandatory law.

6. Prices, deposits, payment plans and invoicing

6.1 Prices

Prices are stated in euros. Prices displayed to consumer Clients include VAT where applicable, unless expressly indicated otherwise. The price applicable to a booking is the price displayed or confirmed when the booking is submitted. Later price changes do not affect a booking already confirmed.

6.2 Required deposit

A fixed deposit is required for paid programmes unless otherwise stated. The deposit forms part of the total programme price, is deducted from the remaining balance and is not an additional charge. The amount is shown during booking or in the written offer or confirmation.

6.3 Payment methods and reference

Payments must be made by bank transfer or PayPal unless SRG expressly confirms another method. The Client must use the booking or order number as the payment reference. SRG does not automatically debit the Client’s account; every payment must be initiated by the Client.

6.4 Payment preference

For paid programmes, the Client must indicate in the Comments field whether they choose “Pay the remaining balance in full” or “Pay the remaining balance in instalments”. For the free introductory call, the Client should enter “N/A (not applicable)”. A change to the selected payment preference must be requested in writing before the next payment becomes due and is valid only after written confirmation by SRG.

6.5 Payment in full

For six-session and twelve-session programmes, the Client who chooses payment in full must pay the complete outstanding balance no later than seven days before the third session. For Themed Labs, one-off services or services with another structure, the outstanding balance must be paid by the deadline shown during booking or communicated in writing.

6.6 Six-session instalment plan

The remaining balance may be paid in two equal instalments:

– the first instalment must be received no later than seven days before the third session

– the second instalment must be received no later than seven days before the fifth session.

6.7 Twelve-session instalment plan

The remaining balance may be paid in three equal instalments:

– the first instalment must be received no later than seven days before the third session;

– the second instalment must be received no later than seven days before the sixth session;

– the third instalment must be received no later than seven days before the ninth session.

6.8 Effect of an instalment plan

An instalment plan changes the timing of payment only. It does not change the agreed programme price and does not divide the programme into separate contracts. Cancellation and refund consequences remain governed by section 7, the applicable offer and mandatory law.

6.9 Late or missed payments

If a deposit, balance or instalment is overdue, SRG may pause or postpone upcoming sessions and may withhold the scheduling of additional sessions until payment is received. Any rescheduled appointment remains subject to availability. A temporary pause does not itself cancel the programme or determine whether an outstanding amount remains payable.

6.10 Payment confirmations, receipts and invoices

For private Clients, a final payment summary, receipt or invoice may be issued at the end of the programme upon request. Where payments are made in instalments, payment confirmations may also be requested after each payment.

Where an invoice is required by law, including for applicable business-to-business transactions, it will be issued at the legally required time and in the legally required format. The Client must provide complete and accurate invoicing details, including legal name, billing address, VAT or enterprise number where applicable, and any information required for structured electronic invoicing.

7. Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show and refunds

7.1 Cancellation or rescheduling by the Client

A scheduled session may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge when SRG receives written notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability for a replacement appointment.

7.2 Late cancellation and no-show

A session cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before its scheduled start time, or missed without notice, is considered used, remains payable and is non-refundable, unless SRG expressly accepts exceptional circumstances in writing.

7.3 Sessions already delivered

Sessions already delivered are non-refundable. This does not affect statutory remedies where a service was not supplied as agreed or other mandatory consumer rights apply.

7.4 Withdrawal from a package or programme

Once a package or programme has started, there is no automatic entitlement to a full refund. Any refund, credit or alternative arrangement for unused future sessions will be assessed in accordance with the applicable offer, the timing and reason for withdrawal, services and materials already supplied, any written agreement and mandatory law.

7.5 Cancellation or rescheduling by SRG

SRG may cancel or reschedule a session because of illness, serious impediment, technical failure, force majeure or another circumstance beyond reasonable control. SRG will inform the Client as soon as reasonably possible and offer a replacement appointment. If a replacement cannot reasonably be arranged, amounts paid for the undelivered session will be refunded or credited, as agreed with the Client.

8. Consumer right of withdrawal for distance contracts

8.1 Fourteen-day withdrawal period

Where applicable consumer law grants a right of withdrawal for a service contract concluded at a distance, including for EU consumers, the withdrawal period is generally 14 days from the date on which the contract is concluded. The Client does not need to give a reason.

8.2 Starting services during the withdrawal period

If the Client expressly requests that SRG begin providing services before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, SRG may begin performance during that period. If the Client then withdraws after performance has started, the Client may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the services already supplied, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If the service has been fully performed during the withdrawal period after the Client’s prior express request and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal may be lost on full performance, the right of withdrawal may cease in accordance with applicable law.

8.3 How to withdraw

The Client must communicate the decision to withdraw clearly and in writing within the applicable period, for example by email, and provide enough information to identify the booking. The Client may use the model withdrawal form in Appendix 1, but its use is not mandatory.

8.4 Refund following withdrawal

Any refund due following a valid withdrawal will be processed in accordance with applicable law, taking account of services already performed at the Client’s express request during the withdrawal period.

9. Client obligations and conduct

The Client undertakes to:

– provide accurate, current and truthful information;

– participate respectfully, collaboratively and in good faith;

– use the Website and services lawfully and without infringing third-party rights;

– attend sessions punctually and provide a suitable technical and private environment;

– notify SRG promptly of relevant circumstances affecting participation or payment.

9.1 Recording

The Client may not audio-record or video-record a session without SRG’s prior written consent and may not distribute session content or materials to third parties except as expressly authorised or required by law.

10. Confidentiality

10.1 Confidentiality obligations

SRG treats personal and professional information shared during sessions as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except where the Client has consented, disclosure is required by law or competent authority, or disclosure is reasonably necessary in response to a serious and imminent risk of harm, subject to applicable law and professional obligations.

10.2 Online communication risks

The Client acknowledges that email, video-conferencing, cloud and other online tools carry inherent technical and security risks. SRG takes reasonable protective measures but cannot guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability of third-party systems.

11. Intellectual property

11.1 Materials

Documents, exercises, worksheets, frameworks, presentations, recordings, digital content and other materials supplied by SRG remain protected by intellectual-property rights and are owned by SRG or the relevant rightsholder.

11.2 Permitted use

The Client receives a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the materials for their own individual development. Unless SRG gives prior written permission, the Client may not reproduce, sell, sublicense, distribute, publicly communicate or commercially exploit the materials, or remove proprietary notices.

11.3 Website content

Website text, logos, images, graphics, layout and code are likewise protected. Unauthorised use may constitute an infringement.

12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

12.1 No guarantee of results

SRG does not guarantee any specific personal, professional, financial, relational or wellbeing result. Outcomes depend on many factors, including the Client’s circumstances, choices, participation and implementation.

12.2 Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SRG is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, opportunity, reputation or data, or emotional distress arising from the Website or services. SRG’s aggregate liability for direct loss relating to a specific paid service is limited to the amount actually paid for that service or, for a package, the proportionate value of the affected part.

12.3 Non-excludable liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Force majeure

SRG is not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, power or communications outages, strikes, governmental measures and significant failures of third-party infrastructure. SRG will inform the Client as soon as reasonably possible and seek an appropriate solution, which may include rescheduling, temporary suspension or another written arrangement.

14. Personal data and privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by the SoulRise Global Privacy Policy available on the Website. By using the services, the Client acknowledges having received or had access to the relevant privacy information.

15. Changes to the Terms

SRG may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, payment processes, business operations or applicable law. The date of the latest update will be shown at the beginning. The version in force when the booking is submitted normally applies to that booking, unless a later change is required by law or expressly accepted by both parties.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

16.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection granted by the law of their habitual residence where that protection applies.

16.2 Dispute resolution and jurisdiction

The parties will first attempt to resolve any concern through direct written communication and an amicable solution. Subject to mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules, disputes relating to these Terms or the services fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the judicial district of Antwerp, division Mechelen, Belgium. A consumer may bring proceedings before another court where mandatory law grants that right.

18. Severability, waiver and entire agreement

If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure or delay by either party to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver of that right. These Terms and the related documents identified in section 1.2 constitute the agreement concerning the matters they cover, subject to any later written agreement expressly accepted by both parties.
